ABOUT ME
My name is Brenda. I'm 38 years old, and I've been married to my husband Joe since May 1994. We met and married in our thirties, and really wish we had found each other sooner! We don't have any children, but do have two wonderful and spoiled tabby cats that you can meet on my kitty page.
We live in beautiful Campbell River British Columbia, located on the Canadian West Coast. It is a wonderful picturesque community right on the Pacific Ocean. It is also known as the "Salmon Capitol of the World" and hosts many tourists (including celebrities) during the summer months.

I graduated from the University of British Columbia School of Social Work in 1984. I have worked full-time ever since. For the last 13 years I have been working primarily in the adoption field.
As you have likely figured out already, my two biggest hobbies are crocheting and collecting fashion dolls. I also enjoy watching figure skating, and going to garage sales. I use to do a lot of reading, but unfortunately now spend that time on the computer! A recent hobby for me has been making soap and toiletry items. I particularly enjoy seeing finished items much quicker than I do when I crochet! For now, I am making lots of things to use as gifts, but my hope is to eventually sell some of these items online. Stay tuned for more details!
